Olbrich Botanical Gardens

Today, while Keven slogged through a second phone interview with P&G and completed his last presentation of the semester, the girls and I went with a few MOMS Club members to the Olbrich Botanical Gardens' Holiday Express. I was under the mistaken impression that this would include a ride-on train like they had at the Cincinnati Zoo Festival of Lights, but no. It was a two-part electric train display...and that's it. A little disappointing for the adults, but the kids enjoyed it. And luckily, Juliette forgot that I mentioned "riding" on the trains.

Then we found a plant with leaves bigger than me - the Jamaican dwarf banana tree - so that was fun! And the kids ate Christmas cookies bigger than their hands, which was more fun for them than for me...
