Something that sucks: Keven starts work at Philip Morris in Richmond, Virginia on my birthday, May 22.
Something that rocks: Having Paul Banks' voice and Carlos D's hip-thrust bass stuck in my head for four days straight. Interpol makes the whole, plain, ordinary world a more obsessively sexy place to inhabit..

So, out of curiousity, what do you do while Keven is off in Virginia? Will you stay in Wisconsin, stay at the folks or will you do all of the above. If you head out to Richmond, you should take the girls to Virginia Beach and get some salt water taffy. It's one of the best that I've ever had.
We'll be holding down the Madison fort. Student housing requires that you're in residence while you pay rent and absent for no more than 30 days (although I don't know how they would track something like that). Also, Keven will most likely rent out a room in order to keep expenses low.
Besides all that, there is no way I'm changing the girls' routines AGAIN. There's no way I'm learning a new city so soon after moving here, making new friends, making a little life for us. So we'll split our time between here and Indiana. And we've got money saved up for a flight or two in between.
And the for the money the Devil is paying Keven to work for Philip Morris, we can endure a few months apart. It's not like we haven't done it before (London/Norwich, Cincinnati/Columbus). Just the kids add a new and interesting twist!!
Luckily, my MOMS Club has a function where they support member moms who are temporarily without spouse by setting up extra playdates and free babysitting so mommy doesn't go mad. I've worked really hard these past five months to make a safe, supportive place for us here, so I think we'll do fine.
