I was awoken this morning at 3:25am to the most hideous feeling: a full-blown, mind-melting, fiery hot UTI. I know, you probably did not need to know that. But it's the center of my world, at the moment, which is what I jot down here in my little corner of blogland. My long-suffering husband, who at present is not suffering as much as me, volunteered to drive the three mile round-trip to the nearest 24-hour Walgreen's for some stop-gap medications, thereby nominating himself for spouse sainthood. Looks like I'll be heading to the doctor tomorrow. Last time this happened, in October, I waited too long to go to the doctor and nearly wound up with a kidney infection. Silly me, trying to treat these vicious, aggressive infections with cranberry juice like I could when I was younger. No longer; my internal bacteria are like a mafia that must be appeased with drugas.

Poor thing. I (knock on wood!) haven't had one for ages, but I sure remember how awful they are! Hope you're feeling better soon.
Sorry to hear about it. I hope you are feeling better this morning.
And yes, go to the doctor.
