Desktop Meme

Darla tagged me, and this one's pretty easy.My Desktop
Ok, let's see what we have on here. Not much! Yes, I keep an incredibly clean desktop. Everything has a folder. All the better to see the pretty people. I love this promo photo from Moulin Rouge!, which just recently replaced this pic of Christian Slater. I would have replaced it with the hero for my new WIP, but his pic is just a tiny bit too explicit for a family room computer. Mantitty ahoy! Open programs? The internet, my WIP, and iTunes. No surprises there!

Here's how you play:

A. Upon receiving this tag, immediately perform a screen capture of your desktop. It is best that no icons be deleted before the screen capture so as to add to the element of fun. You can do a screen capture by going to your desktop and pressing the Print Scrn key (located on the right side of the F12 key). Open a graphics program (like Picture Manager, Paint, or Photoshop) and do a Paste (CTRL + V).If you wish, you can "edit" the image, before saving it.

B. Post the picture in your blog. You can also give a short explanation on the look of your desktop just below it if you want. You can explain why you preferred such look or why is it full of icons. Things like that.

C. Tag five of your friends and ask them to give you a Free View of their desktop as well.

D. Add your name to this list of Free Viewers with a link pointing directly to your Desktop Free View post to promote it to succeeding participants.

List of Free Viewers:

Alan RickmanI would have written last night about our apple tree outing, but the Internet was down for EIGHT hours. The horror! Keven and I were quite at a loss. So I'll talk about that tomorrow. Much pie goodness was had by all, as well as jokes about pod people body snatchers. And now, just for fun and to spread the love of Rickman, here's a link to Alan Rickman reading Shakespeare's Sonnet No. 130. Gorgeous. It's girl porn. (Thx to Eliza & The Bitches for sharing.)

My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun.
My hunger for her explains everything I've done.
To howl at the moon the whole night through--
I'd go out of my mind but for you.
