Best! Movies! Ever!

I stole this from Nicholas. Basically cut-n-paste the top 100 films of all time from IMDB and bold the ones you've seen. Simple.

I remember back when IMDB started and all the Star Wars/Indiana Jones movies were in the top 20. The fanboy quality of internet movie geekdom has slowly been diluted by other influences, although there's no accounting for all those damn Tolkien bits on there. And recent movies always rank higher than they should. I remember Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon being ranked as the bee knee's when it was released. Now it's down to #176.

So I've seen 59 out of 100. Not too bad. I have two here in the house (Amélie and Requiem for a Dream), which I'll get to someday. I tried to do The Great Dictator (*shudder*), and I've also started Dr. Strangelove and Raging Bull before boredom struck. Or it might've been a nap. Naps are tricky like that.
